only 3 internet lessons left. wooohhoooo.

there's this girl in my spanish class, she just kills me. she's probably early 30's and she's pregnant and she has to relate everything back to her husband who plays hockey and is from canada.

rest of class: "blah blah blah espanol"
her: "well when I was in EUROPE I said I was from CANADA because my HUSBAND (holding up hand pointing to ring finger looking accusingly at girls in class) who is a HOCKEY PLAYER and is from CANADA and I was embarrassed to say I'm american.

my life has fallen into a predictable rythym. It's soothing; I always did love a schedule.

This might have been the most productive week I have had in years, I have finished 2 books, gone to 5 classes, taken a midterm, and finished 3 internet lessons.

In the same way I am completely humorless and constantly sick to my stomach. I believe this has to do with my eating and sleeping habits which are reckless at best.

I think I should probably go see a nutritionist because I don't think I will live very long if I continue in this manner.

I'm also starting to think that my sour disposition of the last few years has to do with my strange sleep patterns. This I'll try to fix too.

Right now I'm watching the Royal Tenenbaums because that's the only thing I watch now. I had forgotten how much I loved it, and how much I always will.

I wish more things were open after 12. Like everything. All stores, work out facilities, restaurants, movie theaters everything. Or if I could just have a key to the city.

Did I tell you I'm going to sell Maude? Yes, I know I'm upset too. I'll miss my Camry days.

school days mofo

if i have way too much stuff to do.

i came home after class (that's right) to study for tomorrows midterm and my internet was broken.

flash forward 3 hour nap, 2 hour hold on comcast, me doing nothing again. it finally got fixed though.

Today I went to spanish and film, hard and boring. turns out all the spanish I know can be fit into the first day's class. oops. i might be calling on some ballers who know of the espanol.

marta adventures part I:

V: do you know where I travel?
me: umm what?

v: NO! Do you know where I go during the day?
me: No, sorry (walks away quickly)

so that was a unsettling ride to school on my first day, but it was fine. Georgia State was fine. Everything is fine except for my upseting dreams which I have everytime I sleep. Oops.

Why should 2 people be happy when 4 people can be ecstatic!?!

Last night after being nearly driven to the brink of insanity and tears by my internet lessons I came up with the perfect plan! Sacrifice, human sacrifice. No, I'm just never doing another english lesson!!! I'll take a WF in English and hopefully have time to finish the other two classes. A little bunt for the team of my GPA.

I was so excited that I never went to sleep, staying up to read The Red Tent for my women's studies class. So at 6 I decided to walk downtown to Atlanta Bread where I enjoyed a lovely bagel. I came home showered and walked back downtown to ride Marta.

I love Marta! I rode it most of the day Tuesday. My only regret is that it doesn't go more places.

And last night I saw Jenna, Callie, and Drew W. It was uhh a little strange. haha

My midterm got moved to Friday and Georgia State starts Monday. Jenna's housewarming Saturday night! I love staying busy.

craig's list adventures

I finally put an ad up on Craig's List. Long story short today I participated in this childcare thing during a lesbian and gay parents meeting. The kids were really sweet, and I got paid really well but this other girl who was there who was also from Craig's List was so annoying. Someone asked if we were a couple. To insure no one thought she was a lesbian she talked to no one in particular about her boyfriend and how he was in a band and the recording studio in her house. She was a "freelance designer," which I took to mean "a Art Institute drop out." I almost left. Miserable. But the kids were really sweet. And the money was good.

Tomorrow I have a midterm. uhhhhggggg. in religion. I have to pay 50 dollars to take it. I believe 50 dollars should buy me an A, and hopefully my professor will agree. It's fill in the blank. I'm totally screwed. I guess I should study but I really just want to nap.

Just one more week until summer school starts, I went down to GSU last week and got my new id and my Marta pass, and I'm getting kind of excited. I feel like the leaves should be changing and I should be buying a new pencil box. But the other good news is I can ride Marta nonstop for free! I love Marta. It's smarta, you know.

I guess I'll go study, or nap. I don't know which.
